Great Sacandaga Lake Halloween Cocktails



Banshee

1 oz. White Crème de Cacao
1 oz. Crème de Banana
1 oz. Cream

Combine all the ingredients in a shaker filled with ice, shake and strain into a cocktail glass.

Make it as a shot!
Simply portion this out into 2 large shots



Bewitched

1/2 oz. Vodka
1/2 oz. B & B Liquor
1/2 oz. Cream

Combine ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir gently and strain into a large shot glass or cordial glass.


Brain Hemorrhage

1 oz. Peach Schnapps
1 tsp. Bailey's Irish Cream
2 drops Grenadine

Pour the Peach Schnapps into a large shot glass.
Slowly add the Bailey's and top with the grenadine.


Creepy Crawly Jello Shots

2 Cups Vodka
3 Cups Water
3 Packages Jello
Gummy Worms

In a sauce pan, bring the water to a boil. Once boiling add in the Jello and stir until it is completely dissolved, then stir 2 more minutes. Add in the vodka and stir. Pour mixture into clear plastic shot glasses and chill. Before they get firm, add a gummy worm to each glass. Then let them firm up.


Eyeball Martini

3 oz. Van Gogh Vodka or Van Gogh Gin
Dash Dry Vermouth
Olive stuffed radish

Pour ingredients into cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously a chilled martini glass. Garnish with an olive stuffed radish that has been scored to create the "veins" of an eyeball.


Ghost

1 1/2 oz. Smirnoff Vanilla Vodka
1/4 oz. Godiva Chocolate Liqueur
1/4 oz. Half-and-Half
1/4 oz. Simple Syrup
1/4 oz. Shavings of White Chocolate

Fill shaker with ice. Add Smirnoff Vanilla Vodka, Godiva Chocolate Liqueur, half-and-half, and simple syrup. Shake. Strain into chilled martini glass rimmed with white chocolate

Garnish with white chocolate shavings


Jack O' Tini
The perfect martini for your Halloween party

2 oz. Vodka - chilled
1/4 oz. Bols Pumpkin Smash Liqueur
1 Candy Corn

Place a single candy corn at the bottom of chilled cocktail glass. Combine vodka and liqueur a shaker with ice, shake well and strain into the glass.


Red Devil

2 oz. Irish Whiskey
1 1/2 oz. Clam Juice
1 1/2 oz. Tomato Juice
1 tsp. Lime Juice
3 drops Worcestershire
Pepper to taste

Combine in a shaker with ice.
Shake well and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.


Taboo

1 1/2 oz. Vodka or Pineapple Infused Vodka
Splash Triple Sec
1/2 oz. Cranberry Juice
1/2 oz. Sour Mix
Pineapple Wedge
Maraschino Cherry

Combine vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice and sour mix in a blender with one cup ice, blend 15-20 seconds until smooth and serve in a collins or highball glass. Garnish with pineapple wedge and maraschino cherry.


Spider Cider

2 oz. Van Gogh Wild Apple Vodka
2 oz. Sour apple schnapps
Cranberry juice
Apple juice
Gummy spiders

Freeze gummy spiders in ice cubes ahead of time. Fill a pint glass with the spider packed ice. Add Wild Apple vodka and schnapps. Top off with half cranberry juice, half apple juice.


Vampire's Kiss

2 oz. vodka
1/2 oz. dry gin
1/2 oz. dry vermouth
1 tbsp. tequila
Pinch of salt
2 oz. tomato juice


Mix in Old Fashioned, shake with ice, strain over ice.


Voodoo Daiquiri
It'll put a spell on you!

2 oz. Bourbon
1 oz. Everclear or Vodka
4 oz. Grape Juice
1 cup Crushed ice

Combine Bourbon, Vodka, grape juice and ice into a blender and blend at a medium speed until smooth (15 to 25 seconds). Pour into a chilled hiball or Collins glass.



Zombie
Wake the Dead

1 oz. Light Rum
1 oz. Gold Rum
1 oz. Dark Rum
1 tsp. 151 Rum
1/2 oz. Apricot Brandy
2 oz. Orange Juice
1 oz. Pineapple Juice
1 oz. Lime Juice
1 tsp. Sugar
1 cup Crushed Ice

Garnish
Orange Slice
Maraschino Cherry

In a blender, combine all ingredients except the 151 with crushed ice.
Blend at a high speed until smooth and pour into a Collins glass. Float the 151 rum on top and garnish with the orange slice and maraschino cherry.


Witch's Brew Punch

2 Bottles of Champagne
1 Gallon Orange Juice
1/2 Gallon Orange Sherbet
1 Bunch peeled Black Grapes
Sugar to taste
1 Bottle (2l) Lemon-Lime Soda*
*for lower the alcohol content 1/2 Bottle vodka
1/2 Bottle Vodka**
**to raise the alcohol content
Small pieces of Dry Ice
Bunches of Grapes for Garnish

Combine Champagne and orange juice in large punch bowl. Scoop sherbet into bowl until it has produced a nice scum over the top. Add sugar to taste if desired. Float peeled grapes in mixture, and garnish bowl with the rest of the grapes. Drop in pieces of dry ice for steaming effect, but note that no one should put dry ice in his/her mouth. If you want to raise or lower the alcohol content in the punch, add vodka or clear soda respectively
