Our Next Meting Will be Monday April 7th at trh Mayfield Town Hall
Minutes from our meetings can be read here

What are our plans?

1. HRBRRD - To continue our work on the revision of the Hudson River-Black River Regulating District new draft Rules. Including the reduction of proposed fees, an economic impact study and the reduction of red tape in the approval process. We have been granted 2 seats on the advisory council and will be represented by Lou from Fuel and Food and Gregg Gordon from Ryan's Marine.

2. Marketing - We plan to produce a recreational map, and a Television commercial promoting the Great Sacandaga Lake as well as continuing our efforts with I Love NY and other advertising avenues. We are producing a marketing plan and looking into grants for tourism.

3. Events - we plan to continue to come together to create and execute events such as a Winter Festival, Octoberfest, Sand Island Bashes, Sporting Events, Fishing and Hunting Contests etc.

4. Lake Enhancement - We would like to advise the Lake enhancement fund of other things we can do to enhance the Lake besides stocking fish. We have a proposal to clean up Sand Island and get some portable toilets on the island.

We are always interested in your ideas and concerns
